Leaving the Harbor

I had the week off from work, so I decided to spend my vacation by running 150 miles. Not a normal way for most people to spend their time off. Usually, I wake up at 5:30 AM to run before work and then do a second run after work. Having time off let me do a longer run in the morning around 8:00 instead. Plus, I had the ability to take a nap during the day which is a big benefit. The most I had run before this week was 130 miles and that was last spring. I just decided on 150 at random with no rhyme or reason, it just sounded like a fun thing to do. This was one of the worst weeks to do it because of the weather. Most days…
